Zombie kills Halloween franchise

The beauty of the original was that there was no reason for Myers' evil. He just was. Giving one of the greatest cinema slashers ever a dysfunctional back-story is just plain ludicrous. And the intensity that Donald Pleasance brought to his Dr. Loomis was vastly superior to Malcolm McDowell's portrayal of him as a new age hippy psychotherapist who writes a book and exploits the boy.

MITM Notes: I saw it on Friday. The first half was good, the second half was "ok". Had I known then what I know now - I would have waited for the DVD.
