Downtown Mesa will throb for 10 hours on Sunday to the sounds of dark heavy-metal bands, and a city councilman isn't happy about it."It's not what we want our image to be," said Kyle Jones, who represents downtown on the council. "For me personally I'd just as soon we didn't have any of that kind of stuff."
The festivities, called Sounds of the Underground, run from noon to 10 p.m. at the Mesa Amphitheatre.
